This recording was made on two different shows at the Hangar 9. One of them mentioned was on Valentine's Day, so I think that was Valentine's Day of 1990. I believe this was a live mix coming off the board, so its dirty, and there's lots of talk happening. Because I cut two shows together, there may be a segue or two between songs that doesn't necessarily fit. Sorry about that!

We never released these recordings as "albums" people could buy.

The picture on the cover is from a show in our basement on 503 Hays, I believe.

The Nightsoil Coolies formed when Roger Pugh, Tony Aimone, and Brian Vaughan heard each other playing music on Hays Street in Carbondale, Illinois, in the summer of 1988. Not long after, they were playing out. Brian was a song engine, and before we split in 1991, we had written about 100 songs, and played all over the country.
